Create a dedicated space for supervised gymnastics practice with the Cannons UK Elite Adjustable Gymnastics Bar. The pink steel frame combines a 4ft timber-veneered fibreglass crossbar with included base extensions for additional support.
Adjustable height for your training
The crossbar adjusts from 3ft to 5ft to suit the gymnast and planned exercises. An adult should set both sides to the same height and check that all height locks and fixings are secure before use.
Included extensions and clear weight limits
The bar is supplied with base extensions and rubber floor-protecting end caps. Fit and use the extensions in accordance with the assembly instructions, and position the equipment on a flat, stable surface.
The maximum dynamic user weight is 63kg. The 130kg static load capacity applies to a stationary load and is not the maximum gymnast weight during movement. Choose exercises appropriate to the gymnast's ability, equipment and available space, with guidance from a qualified coach where needed.
Plan your space and matting
The listed internal training area is 4ft wide × 8ft long. This is not the overall external footprint. Allow room for the complete frame and extensions, suitable safety matting and clear space for the gymnast's movements. Check ceiling height and other overhead obstructions at the chosen bar height. Contact us before ordering if you need the overall footprint to check your room.
For matting, consider the Cannons UK 8ft × 4ft × 50mm Foldable Double Mat. Check its fit and suitability for the planned exercises, including coverage around the frame. A mat is not included with the bar.

Adult assembly is required. This model does not fold; follow the instructions when assembling or dismantling it for storage. Keep the equipment indoors and dry when not in use.
Adult supervision is required whenever the bar is used. Check the frame, extensions, crossbar, fixings and height locks before every session.

Who is the Elite bar suitable for?
It provides an adjustable setup for supervised gymnastics practice by users within the 63kg dynamic user weight limit. Suitability depends on the gymnast's ability, planned exercises and available space. Seek guidance from a qualified coach where needed; a weight rating does not mean every gymnastics skill is suitable.
What are the static and dynamic weight limits?
The static load capacity is 130kg for a stationary load. The maximum dynamic user weight is 63kg for gymnastics use, where movement creates additional forces. The static rating must not be used as the maximum gymnast weight.
How is the height adjusted?
The crossbar adjusts from 3ft to 5ft. An adult should adjust both sides to the same height in accordance with the instructions, then check all height locks and fixings before use.
How much room do I need?
The listed internal training area is 4ft wide × 8ft long. This is not the overall external footprint. Allow room for the complete frame and extensions, matting, movement around the bar and sufficient overhead clearance. Are the base extensions included?
Yes. The base extensions are supplied with the bar. Fit and use them in accordance with the assembly instructions and check that all connections are secure before every session.
Does the Elite bar fold for storage?
No. This is a non-folding model. An adult should follow the instructions if dismantling it for storage, keep parts and fixings together and check every connection after reassembly.
Is assembly required?

Is a mat included?
No. Use suitable gymnastics safety matting underneath and around the bar. Consider the Cannons UK 8ft × 4ft × 50mm Foldable Double Mat, checking its dimensions and suitability for the planned exercises. Contact us if you need help choosing matting.
What is the crossbar made from?
The 4ft crossbar is fibreglass with a timber veneer finish. The frame is steel, with rubber floor-protecting end caps.
Is adult supervision required?
Yes. A responsible adult must supervise every session. Place the bar on a flat, stable surface, use suitable safety matting and check the frame, extensions, crossbar, fixings and height locks before use. Only one gymnast should use the bar at a time.
Can it be used outdoors?
The bar is designed for indoor use. If used outdoors temporarily in dry conditions, use a flat, stable surface and suitable matting. Bring it indoors afterwards and do not leave or store it outdoors.
How should I clean and maintain it?
Wipe the frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Keep the timber veneer crossbar dry and do not soak it. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents and steam cleaning. Stop using the bar if fixings are loose or any component is damaged.

Check before every session
Check all bolts, screws and connections, including the base extensions. Ensure both sides are at the same height and all height locks are fully engaged. Inspect the frame, end caps and crossbar for wear, cracks, damaged veneer or other damage. Stop using the equipment if any part is loose or damaged and contact Cannons UK for advice.
Cleaning
Wipe the frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Keep the timber veneer crossbar dry; do not soak it or leave moisture on the surface. Avoid bleach, abrasive cleaners, solvents and steam cleaning.
Moving and storage
Store indoors in a dry place away from moisture and direct heat. Do not leave or store the bar outdoors. This model does not fold. An adult should follow the assembly instructions when dismantling or reassembling it. Keep parts and fixings together and recheck all connections before use. Lift rather than drag the equipment when moving it.
