Important: Foam Expansion Instructions

Your crash mat will arrive vacuum packed to reduce shipping size and protect the foam during transit.
Please follow these steps when it arrives:

1. Remove all packaging and allow the foam to unfold naturally.

2. Insert the foam into the cover as soon as possible after opening.

3. The foam will begin to expand immediately, but please allow up to 48 hours for it to fully return to its correct size and thickness.

4. During this time, the mat may appear slightly soft or uneven — this is completely normal and will settle as the foam expands.

To protect product hygiene, this crash mat is vacuum-packed and sealed on dispatch. Once the seal is broken and the foam has been allowed to expand, the mat cannot be returned unless faulty.  If your mat is still in its sealed, unused condition, you may return it within 30 days.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us and we will resolve it immediately.
Please check the size, colour and specifications before unsealing the foam.

1. How long does the mat take to fully expand after delivery?

The crash mat arrives vacuum-packed. Once you open the packaging and fit the cover, please allow up to 48 hours for the foam to fully expand to its correct size and firmness.

2. Can I return the mat if I’ve opened the packaging?

Due to hygiene and vacuum-pack compression, once the seal is broken and the foam begins expanding, the mat cannot be returned unless it is faulty.
If unopened and in original condition, it can be returned within 30 days.

3. What activities is this crash mat suitable for?

4. Is the mat firm or soft?

It uses high-density impact-absorbing foam. This means it is soft enough to cushion landings but firm enough to offer good stability and support for training.

Yes — it folds in half into a compact bi-fold shape, making it easy to carry, move and store.

6. Can I join multiple mats together?

Yes. The mat includes Velcro tabs so you can join multiple mats side-by-side or secure a single mat in place.

7. What is the mat made of?

It features high-density foam with a heavy-duty, wipe-clean vinyl cover and reinforced stitching for durability.

8. Is this mat suitable for adults as well as children?

Yes. The 8-inch thickness and strong foam make it suitable for adults, teens and children.

9. Does the mat have any smell when first opened?

A slight foam or vinyl smell is normal when first unpacked. This will disappear within 24–48 hours as the mat fully expands and airs out.

10. How do I clean the mat?

Just wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.
