Are the red and blue mats separate products?

No. Each mat is reversible, with a red face and a blue face. Choose either side or alternate mats for a two-colour layout.

Are these the same as your 20mm Premium Tatami martial arts mats?

Yes. This listing presents the same Premium Tatami mat for indoor play-area flooring, with 20mm thickness and 120kg/m³ EVA foam density.

Can these be used underneath climbing frames or raised play equipment?

How many mats do I need?

Each mat offers approximately 1m² coverage. Measure the room and plan the layout; allow extra for trimming, awkward shapes and spare mats. Send us your dimensions if you would like help.

How do I fit the mats?

Lay them on a clean, dry, flat and stable floor, connect the jigsaw edges fully and use the included border strips at exposed edges. Plan transitions at doors and inspect the fitted floor regularly.

Can I add more mats later?

The layout can be extended with matching mats. Contact us before adding to an older floor to confirm the connector pattern; colour shades can vary between batches.

How do I clean them?

Use a damp cloth and mild soap, remove residue and allow the floor to dry before use. Lift mats periodically to clean underneath. Avoid harsh chemicals, soaking and steam cleaning.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. Use the samples section to order a jigsaw mat sample before committing to a larger floor.

Wipe the mats with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. New mats may have some residual release agent from manufacturing; if the surface feels slippery, clean with mild soap or diluted sugar soap, then remove any residue with a clean damp cloth and let the mats dry fully before use. Test any cleaning product on a small area first.

Avoid harsh solvents, abrasive cleaners, steam cleaning and soaking the foam. Lift mats periodically to clean and dry the floor underneath. Check jigsaw joins, exposed edges and floor stability before use, and replace damaged mats.

Heavy furniture, sharp objects and dragging equipment can mark or indent EVA foam. Store the mats flat in a clean, dry place when not in use.
